This is a lovely book – perceptive, touching, well-written and well-paced, authentic characterisation and credible dialogue. The story of an ordinary family, as it says on the cover, engaging and gentle, a real delight, and a book that deserves much more notice than it seems it has so far received. Highly recommended.
