We live in an age of superheroes and Brandon Sanderson puts his hat in the ring. I did really enjoy this one but it was a bit of a slow burn. We are introduced to lots of different things as part of this world and it goes take some things to get going but when it does it goes off. I didn't always like the main character and he was a bit creepy but I do think the side characters improve it. I might even carry on with the series. In the near or distant future...
