The first time I have read a book by this author. It had been on my kindle forever and a day and i'm trying to work through some of my older books that have been over looked..
It was a different read, very easy to read but a little slow in parts. A good idea to the story line.
Another series from my backlist.
If I hadn’t have had the other 2 on my list I may not have chosen to read them.
I say “may” because, although it’s a 2.75 star for me, rounded up there is actually something here.
It’s a topic up to date in this world....which was a plus side.
Not likeable characters ....but....I don’t care as I thought that added to it in my attitude of reading this book.
Downside, I just didn’t get excited or thrilled by it.
Very easy read, short well paced chapters helped the book move at a tremendous pace. More than enough twists and turns to keep everyone happy. I really enjoyed the use of social media and the interaction of the serial killer with twitter. About time someone did this to great effect.
Along with a good pace one of the things that impressed me was character manipulation and development. As a reader you tend to follow the protagonists one way, think you have them sussed and then the author changes things around and I certainly had that with these two characters. You begin by scratching your head at certain decisions but somewhere along the line you end up rooting for them!
Very well written, a few points I couldn’t quite get my head around but overall a wonderful social media story. Bravo. (I think that’s less than 140 charcters!)
