Absolutely captivating from the very first page.
Oliver Graham, quarterback for the NY Cobras, attends the offices of Tanner Security, seeking Jake Tanner's services in finding the person/people responsible for the verbal and physical attacks on his cousin Natalie.
After revealing Natalie was the person responsible for writing the popular Saturnalia role-playing game, her life has become a living hell whereby she cannot leave her apartment and trusts only a handful of people.
Jake is an Army Vet, being forced to leave after eight years and losing two limbs in an IED attack in Afghanistan.
After agreeing to take on this case, he has to find ways in which to make Natalie's apartment and life secure. After many texts, Jake has devised a plan to do this with the least amount of stress to Natalie, but along the way he finds her not only fascinating but someone who calls to him in a way no one has for a very long time.
Can he get Natalie to trust him to keep her safe and include her in his life? And will Jake be able to catch whoever is sending the damaging posts to Natalie?
Definitely a 5* read for me.
Thanks to Netgalley and Amazon Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.
I enjoyed this one but I didn't love it like I thought I was going to. Which left me feeling a little disappointed with myself not the author because it is well written and the characters are great and the storyline well done it was just I built it up to be much bigger than it was and hyped it up so when it I read it I felt it didn't measure up to what I was expecting which annoyed me because if I'd gone into it more blind about it I would have enjoyed it much more.
But I would still highly recommend it because it was my own fault and as I stated if I had gone into it without more information I would have enjoyed it a lot more than I did.
Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this title. Unfortunately, I have lost interest in the title, partly due to trusted reviews, and will not be reviewing the title. I have, however, promoed the title through my weekly recap with links to Amazon. Thank you again, and I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
I am going through my Netgalley account and clearing up some titles, I never downloaded this book it archived before I was able to so I am unable to read and review for this reason. I apologize that I didn't know this one had been approved. I did just one click it though so when I do read it I will update but just wanted to let you know why it hadn't been reviewed yet.
I loved this book about Jake and Natalie! They were superb characters and I loved watching their romance develop. The book had a great mix of romance and suspense, and I thought it was fast paced and easy to read. Another winner by this author!
This was an emotional story about two people finding unexpected love while healing each other. Revealed to Him was emotionally compelling and had a storyline that held my attention the whole way through.
Jake and Natalie were great characters, and the author did a fantastic job delving into their issues. I love that Frederick tackled issues that you dont see in typical romance novels. That just made the story that much more interesting to me. Jake was such a great hero and possessed all the qualities I live in an alpha male: strong, protective, possessive and loyal to the woman who captivated him. Natalie was an amazing character as well, she was sweet and intelligent, and stronger than she knew.
The plot flowed well and I liked the twists that the author wove through. I'm a huge fan of Jen Frederick's work and look forward to reading more from her in the future.
This book wasn't anything like I thought. It was better. I'm not sure if I can do this review justice to be honest.
All i can say is, it's one I haven't been able to forget.
Perfect.
What can I say. This author never ceases to amaze me. I love how she intertwines the characters from other books so amazingly well. Love both characters in this book and the real issues some people face. Joke and Natalie were amazing and the way James insecurities cam over made you fall in love within even more. I love this author.
