I hadn't read a Maeve Binchy book in a long time - too long. Found it a totally engrossing plot and with well written characters. There is something a bit special about this one.

Classic Binchy, like a cup of hot chocolate on a winter's day. No one could every surpass her storytelling skills I still prefer her long novels however.
