Nice crime book and a great and interesting start to a new crime series!
I really enjoyed the strong female lead, i really enjoyed how this book was build up and written, the plot was nicely done... it just all worked nicely!

An interesting / intriguing storyline that certainly had me wanting to read more!

I thought the pace was good and matched the story. I also found the characters themselves to be well-written and I certainly was invested enough in them to read to the end!

I loved the action and twists, and even though not everything was a surprise this didn't affect my enjoyment of the story at all!

Fantastic descriptions that really brought everything alive - and I do love a bit of gore!

I would definitely recommend this and read more from this author.
