I absolutely adored this book and left a warm, glowing review on Amazon when it came out, and have recommended it to many kids and adults since. It was funny, sad, and (without giving away any spoilers) ultimately joyful with a funny, lovable main character. A thoroughly recommended Middle Grade read.

I absolutely loved this book and have been recommending it ever since I read it. I don't know why I never got round to writing a review of it. It is such a well-crafted story grounded in science and reality in a way that makes you believe that maybe, just maybe, time travelling could work and that exercising your memory a certain way could lead to never forgetting anything.
The relationships between members of the family are lovely. The book is funny and completely unpredictable, I had no idea how it would resolve itself. Basically I loved it and have been reading everything Ross Welford has published since.

A very interesting time travel tale for children. It's quite thoughtful and not quite what I expected. It's dark but well done. It's humorous and will give you the feels. I think this is appropriate for children aged 9+. Recommended for the class library!

A clever and funny read with a very strong sense of setting which I am sure will be enjoyed by my students, but I was surprised by the ending - not what I was expecting at all!

A story full of adventure and science about a boy coming to terms with the death of his father. Funny, inventive and touching with an unexpected but satisfying ending.
