I'm going to start off by saying I don't do well with any type of experimental writing, and I didn't know that that was the case with this book when I went into it!
This book is just so strange. I can cope with strange, but this one was too much for me - for example, alternate dimension woman with wings I can cope with, but when we get to the briefcase that is some sort of portal to hell and contains the secrets of the universe and all possible timelines...you've lost me with the weird sci-fi-ness.
If you like sci-fi and particularly topics surrounding time you might like this so I wouldn't advise anyone not to try it, just not my thing.

Too weird for me - sci-fi, but with some kind of second person narration which really put me off.

I finished this book not quite sure what I'd read. On the one hand, I loved, fell in love, with the characters. They were so well realized and the diversity was thrilling to read! But there was so much I didn't really feel comfortable with or understand. I mean, what really was the Resistance?! Was the subplot with the unbroken chains in the Cetacean period ever actually resolved or did I somehow just not get it all? The incomplete waveforms were another confusing subplot where I'm unsure why they were there...I can't decide whether I needed more explanation or fewer subplots. I really did like the characters though so I'm not sure.
