An interesting and engaging thriller. Well-paced, well-written (unsurprising given the author's time as a journalist), and engaging until the end. If you're a fan of suspense/mystery fiction, then I'm sure you'll find much to like.

I really enjoyed this book. It kept me guessing right to the very end. I loved how this book took an alternative point of view - showing the perpetrators wife's thoughts and feelings. It felt different from the usual crime thriller and it's definitely one that I'd recommend.

I tried so hard with this book, I even tried different formats and listened in audiobook format, but I just couldn't connect, the story had no believability, I didn't like the characters, well not didn't like then, I nothing them I literally couldn't have cared if they lived or died, and didn't want to waste any time finding out there stories,

Not keen on this one. Think I'm suffering from domestic noir fatigue.
Sorry.

The widow by Fiona Barton is a general fiction (adult) read.
Jean Taylor is now alone. Her husband Glen is dead. He was that man accused of unimaginable evil.
Jean will tell all.
It will be her story on her own terms.
This was an emotional rollercoaster of a read. I felt so much while reading this. Happy sad confused. I really felt for Jean. What she must have gone through. Kate I didn’t know whether to love her or hated her because she was a reporter. Full of twists and plots. Highly recommended. 5*. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book from netgalley.
