First published in 1978, "The Last Good Kiss" is the first (of four) novels in the C.W. Sughrue series.
A well-written crime-noir novel, featuring an engaging protagonist. Crumley was an excellent writer, his prose often brilliant.
A crime/noir that does everything you'd expect from the genre, and does it very well. Really looking forward to reading the other three novels in the series.
