Received a copy in exchange for a fair review thank you to Zaffre. I have mixed feelings about this book, I did and didn't like this book.

The books begins with Abi breaking up with her current boyfriend Joseph who she thinks is the 'love of her life' and they were meant to be. She takes the break up very hard. Then she finds a bucket list that Joseph wanted to completed and comes up with an idea to take on the challenge and she just might win him back.

I fell in love with the concept and cover of the book which initially piqued my interest, I was expecting to see multi-facets of Abi and she being magically transformed in to a whole new 'Abi' (I did feel like at this point, it was a bit cliche of a plot).

Abi is a very likeable character, she is fun and kind, super creative and loves her job, and has a reliable friendship with Sian, her best friend. I found her motives questionable when she decided to take up on the bucket list and her reasoning to compel herself each time to do them even though she was so scare.. This was incredibly cliche and annoying to read, I get that as a reader she loves her former boyfriend but I really wanted Abi to really challenge herself. I found this aspect of the book really hard to relate to and like her as a character. She felt pretentious.

Anna does well in to the writing style, I do love the themes that she was trying to explore and the essence of how the bucket list is about you. But the lack of clarity in the character arc and development really failed to captivate my attention. I did not like the ending of it at all, it was too rushed.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to read and review this book.

After losing and replacing my broken Kindle and getting a new phone I was unable to download the title again for review as it was no longer available on Netgalley.

I’m really sorry about this and hope that it won’t affect you allowing me to read and review your titles in the future.

Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
Natalie.

Very much in the style of Bridget Jones (which grated on me a bit) in which our plump, self-denigrating heroine decides to live out the bucket list of the cad who dumped her, in hopes that it will make her attractive to him again. No surprises in this story – the expected good guy she meets along the way does, in fact, fall in love with her, she challenges herself, and she learns along the way…

That being said, the story was enjoyable, perfect for a mindless escape, perhaps while eating Pringles and imbibing…

I received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
