I really enjoyed Carey's previous book and Fellside did not disappoint either. Thanks for approving me even though it has taken me a long time to read it.

There was much to enjoy here, but I found I couldn't connect with it. I'd read more from this author in the future though.

M.R. Carey can write a book! I can't believe this thing! After reading the Girl with All the Gifts by the same author I could not wait to pick up this book. In the first book I read by this author I thought about it for so long after and this book is no different. It is fantastic. I would suggest this book if you enjoyed previous books by this author.

Carey sure knows how to write a thriller! After The Girl With All the Gifts, he takes things in a different direction with a supernatural thriller that takes place in a high security prison. While not as creepy as his previous novel, this one still manages to chill with its exploration of what we can do to each other as humans more than what monsters might do to us. All the characters are intriguing and deep. Another great novel and I can't wait for the next, which will return to the world of The Girl With All the Gifts.
