Sorry not for me took me awhile to get into it, and half way through i just started to speed read to get it done
Thank you Netgalley for a copy for an honest review
Unfortunately I didn't connect to this book and ended up not finishing it. I will not be reviewing it since my opinions aren't based on the entirety of the book and may therefore give wrong impressions.
Incredibly unsettling in places, but in an gripping and unputdownable way.
Absolutely hooked by this.
This book wasn't for me, I found it a bit slow and not to my taste
Even though I didn't like this book at all, I think it will sell well as a sci-fi/fantasy novel. I didn't feel the story was original, it felt like I'd read it all before in other books. Not my taste, sorry
Before I read this book, I figured it would be along the lines of SEVEN, but it was completely different and that threw me so much that it took me a few chapters to get into the story and understand what was going on, especially when people seemed to be thinking about others in relation to their star signs all the time.
It turns out that this novel is quite original, in that it deals with a dystopian society where people are segregated by their actual zodiac sign and once I got that, I started to get into the story.
It was a very interesting and tense book, with fairly good characters but none I really liked a lot.
Lindi was my favourite but her borderline hippie ways got to me sometimes.
Definitely worth a read though, quite thought provoking in fact!
