A journalist Sophie Kent is the main character in Breaking Dead and is the first book in a series featuring Sophie. We see Sophie delving into the fashion industry and the life of a model. It's London Fashion Week and there is a killer around. Sophie is grieving for her brother as well and not coping very well. This does not hinder her attempting to try to solve a girls murder who she met only briefly.
A gritty crime thriller that shows us the dark side of the industry. The underage girls that are used and abused on a regular basis.
Sophie herself is a character that makes you want to sweep her up in a hug because she is hurting so badly but she carries on
I am planning to read more of Corrie Jackson I enjoyed this book that much. Thanks to NetGalley.

An intersting story, with some surprising twists. A good read.
