I didn't finish this one, I'm afraid. Maybe will try another time but I just couldn't get into it although it did start well. Thanks for allowing me to review though, much appreciated as always :)

I loved this book, it didn't take me long to read and I'd happily re-read it again. Which I plan to do when all 6 books are out so I can read one after the other!
I've always enjoyed Alison Weir's books and this was no exception, it was informative and brought you back in time and into Katherine's world. I can't praise it enough.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the review copy.

This is a fictional biography of Kathryn of Aragon. I love reading about Tudor Kings and Queens, and have read many fictional and non fictional books of Queens of this time. I’ve never read one by Alison Weir so was pleased to have been approved to read this. It begins from the time around her marriage to Prince Arthur, who was Henry VIII’s brother, until her death. The story follows along the line of the facts that we know of Kathryn, but obviously with a more fictional spin on it. It does read like a romance book at times, as opposed to historical fiction, but the research is good and it was quite an enjoyable read.

Three stars!
