I was not sure if I would enjoy this book as usually the books about weddings are not my thing but quickly I found myself attracted by the story and the characters and seen myself turning the pages eagerly! I have thought at some point to give this book 5 stars out of 5 but in the end I am giving it 4 stars because at some point I thought the story was a bit slow and started to repeat itself, I would have prefered a shorter story maybe. But all in all this is a very good one!!!! You will have fun reading it!

I read the first book in this series a few years ago and to be honest I didn't remember very much. I guess this is why I had a hard time getting back into the setting and the characters.
Although I recently read a book by this authors which I didn't like very much, I had hopes that this one was going to be better.
In the beginning I had the impression I am going to like this book a lot better but after about 30% into the story, I got more and more bored. There were a tons of characters which I couldn't really connect with and had a hard time to tell who was who and who was with who and so on.
I never had the feeling that one character was in the centre of the story. Everything made a very hectic impression and the story was jumping around.
I also missed a festive atmosphere. The story had a lot more potential there.
Unfortunately I have two more books of this series in my tbr read pile, so I will have to at least try them.

What a delight to read, having read the first book in this series The little Wedding shop by the sea it was lovely to continue and pick up with these characters. light and easy to read you feel that you are back with friends. A lovely holiday read for any time of the year.

I absolutely loved this second book in the Brides by the Sea series, I devoured it in two sittings, I couldn't put it down! Jane's style of writing is smooth, fun and flirty all at the same time. I love all the characters and enjoyed reading their follow on from the first book, I enjoy reading about the wedding dresses and the bride shop and how they are all friends and look out for one another. Sera's sister seemed like the bride from hell to begin with but I ended up liking her character and her softer side to being a big sister. I'm glad that Sera and Johnny got together and not Quinn, I didn't know which one she would choose but she made the right choice in the end. I'm thrilled that there is a third book in this series and I can't wait to read what each of them get up to next. Thank you for letting me read and review this book, looking forward to the next one!

Christmassy, super cute, comforting and beautiful!
This is the perfect read to get into the Holiday mood and let the seasonal spirit take over. And really who doesn't like weddings, romance and Christmas all together?

Thank you to netgalley and Harper for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I was happy enough to return to this series and read about characters I knew but a different group of people at the forefront.
The plot was mostly predictable but still nice to read and of course it was a good read in the run up to Christmas. I liked reading about the relationship between Sera and her sister, not just the romance aspect, though her sister was an unlikeable nightmare, but thankfully she grows towards the end.
