Another great re-issue from Transworld.

Christopher Fowler is perhaps best known for his popular Bryant & May crime/mystery series. Transworld has re-issued two of the author's earlier novels, ROOFWORLD and SPANKY. Both are very good, and recommended.

In ROOFWORLD, we learn about a secret, parallel society who live and operate on the rooftops of London. They have their own rules, their own agendas, challenges, and rivalries. Robert Linden, someone from the "regular" world finds himself introduced to Roofworld, and quickly embroiled in a contest for power and influence.

Well-written, engaging, with some very good characters. Definitely recommended.

There was much to enjoy here, but I found I couldn't connect with it. I'd read more from this author in the future though.
