The book synopsis sounded really interesting, and I enjoyed the general outline of the book. In fact, it might make a good movie idea for say…Passionflix. For me though, I didn’t care for the writing style. There was too much inner monologue, too much repetition of the same thing just said in different ways. I will admit, 35% of the way through the book I started to skim. I feel like the story could have been better served from a different angle.

This seemed like the perfect summer read, but I just couldn't get over how much I disliked Gabriel. I do love a good strong sassy woman but I just couldn't get over how much I disliked the other main character and didn't finish the book. I can see that it was well loved by many and have added it to my try-again-later list.

I decided to quit reading this book at 30%, and will not be posting an official review anywhere. I downright hated the hero, and didn't care at all about the heroine.

Girl on a Plane was a great rom-com all about Sinead a cabin crew member who meets Gabriel on a flight, we are drawn into the ups and downs of their relationship, what will happen will it all be happy ever after. A great summer read give it a try.

This book kind of had it all! Travel, quirky, funny, and sexy characters and a man with an accent (because who can resist)!
