The first Harry Virdee novel.
Dhand has written an excellent crime novel. Set in Bradford (an atypical location), featuring a Sikh DI, the author provides a solid crime story with some welcome examination of British economic and cultural issues.
If you're a fan of crime fiction, then I strongly recommend Dhand's series.
