It's taken me a long time to get around to reading this one and whilst I didn't enjoy it quite as much as Portia's other books, it was still an enjoyable read. Lighthearted and entertaining, this definitely put a smile on my face, even if I did find Ruby to be a tad annoying, she seemed much more immature than I would expect from someone of her age. Although I do applaud her for her resilience, throwing herself into dating with such determination, despite some pretty off-putting experiences.

Really enjoyable read. Good characters and a Good story. Well worth a read. Think others will. Enjoy

Received an ARC for an honest review.
I'm not sure what I was expecting...but it wasn't this. Ruby was really hard to like. It got to the point that I didn't really care about her and Nick ending up together and at times, I didn't want them to. It's frustrating because I really wanted to like this. The roommates to lovers trope is one of my favorites, after all, but this didn't do it for me. I don't know if it was her condescending attitude or the way she was so flagrantly disrespectful, but it wasn't for me.
