This was a solid and thrilling sequel but there were a couple of downsides that maybe tarnished this duology for me. This sequel definitely wasn't as good as the first book and there were certain serious subjects that had so much potential to be profound but were just not handled properly. Overall, this was a solid sequel but slightly disappointing.

The King Slayer is a showstopper addition to The Witch Hunter series. Fellow fans will fall in love all over again with this series and will read it with a beating heart. I can't wait to see what comes next!
