I received an ARC of this book back in 2016, and I started it but could not connect with it. As I clean up my shelves, I thought I would give this one another try.

This story is told with 3 different narrators. Frankie is the main one, where she is learning how to have sex after her husband leaves her because she is boring in bed. Then her 2 best friends, Letty and Em, have their own storyline. I wasn't sure what to rate this as I enjoyed reading about Em's storyline, and even her brother's side story, but I did not enjoy Frankie or Letty's. Both characters were written as though they were still teenagers. Frankie was so naive about everything, it became unbearable to read. Letty had potential into being an interesting storyline, but calling people wet farts all the time is offputting and childish. I can't take anything in her plot seriously after that.

Maybe had I read this book in my 20's, it would have hit differently. Unfortunately, being just shy of 40, this is no longer my cup of tea.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to read and review this book.

After losing and replacing my broken Kindle and getting a new phone I was unable to download the title again for review as it was no longer available on Netgalley.

I’m really sorry about this and hope that it won’t affect you allowing me to read and review your titles in the future.

Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
Natalie.

DNF at 40%
I don't usually DNF books, because I always like to have the whole picture while writing my review.
However, this time around I just couldn't bother myself to continue, because the main character and her clueless behaviour that we should find cute was getting on my nerves.
She acted like she didn't know anything about sex, when in reality she was married.
I mean, virgins know more.
I just couldn't understand why the author went to such extremes.
Out of three stories we followed, Em's was the only one I wanted to read about, but my interest wasn't high enough to read the other two along.

The Late Blossoming of Frankie Green was a great book.
It starts off with Frankie celebrating her first wedding anniversary with husband Jason whom she's been together with for 14 years, but all is not as it seems....... Jason wants to split up. How will Frankie cope que her best friends who have their own ups and downs to overcome.
Book was a great read and I enjoyed getting to know Frankie and the other characters.
