Valentina is a hard-working woman who dresses plainly in order to blend in to her surroundings. When her new, handsome boss arrives, James completely writes her off. However, as they work together, he witnesses her competence and ability to ground him in stressful situations. I love how he starts to see beyond her looks and falls in love with her heart. The ending feels a little rushed, but overall I enjoyed the book.
This book was sent to me free from netgalley and aria to which I am hugely thankful and give an unbiased review.
I have to say I absolutely loved this book, from the start of the book the characters are totally believable and are well described so I felt I knew them. The book is a romantic read with a whodunnit in the background. It was a sweet read and a good length, neither too long or too short. I loved how the chapters were alternated between James and valentina or Tina for short, giving you their perspective on their thoughts and actions. A well constructed read that got me reading at every moment I could. I gave t gone into the story too much as I hate spoilers in reviews so won't spoil it for you by doing so!!
Was an ok read but wasn't a book that kept me hooked right from the start.
Lighthearted story that didn't take much to understand, get your teeth into and as I said at the start was an ok read.
Only 3 stars from me.
Finding You is an interesting story, not too much dramatic and not too lighthearted.
It was an enjoyable quick read for me.
I've really appreciated the haters to lovers trope, the boss-assistant relationship and the italian background.
I was so happy to read Valentina and James story and see how they reach their well deserved Happily Ever After.
