This is the 2nd book I've read by Emilie Schepp and even though I liked it, I found it difficult to connect with the characters emotionally. Jana is tightly wrapped, understandable when you get glimpses of her past. She's trying to find out who she is, where she came from and what made her the person she is. Despite that I really don't like her all that much. The police team is OK, but again, they left me cold as well.
The mystery is interesting, if a little far fetched. At least I hope that is the case, it would be horrifying
if this was based on real life events.
