I enjoyed this book though I did find it a little uneven. What probably stood out the most was the feel of the story, the way setting and ambience made me feel. The story itself was good with a few places that seemed to drag unnecessarily. I expect a few slower spots in books where information the reader needs takes precedence over keeping up a specific pace. I felt there were a couple that weren't needed here.
