This book was...insane, and I can't say that I mean that in a completely positive way. There was BDSM, which I have no expertise on so can't say if it was properly and respectfully portrayed, but it was just not a great feeling reading about a woman who was abused so thoroughly as a teenager that her sense of self and self-love is nonexistent and has to come from a dominant man. Totally not the type of book for me, but it may be someone else's cup of tea?
