This is another book that's been on my shelf for ages, and I wasn't sure if I was going to still want to read it or not. I picked it up, gave it a go, and lo and behold, it was really easy to get into, and whilst frustrating at times, was actually quite a fun book.
Enemies to loves in the form of colleagues who hate each other, and then get paired together at the request of a client, to work on his account. Of course this means that our main characters, Jenny and Ian, will have to try and get along.
What unfolds its a story of at times, hilarity, realisation of feelings and who each other is on a deeper level, beneath the hate for each other, and some fun times all around. There is some angst, but not too much, and the story line flows pretty nicely. I just didn't like the ending as much as I hoped. It was a little too fast, without some of the communication I would have liked.
All in all this was a fun read, and I would like to read more from this author.
I tried very hard to like this book but it was missing something. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it but I think it was just okay. Nothing special happened and the characters didn’t leave any sort of lasting impression on me.
I found this book very hard to get into, I understand that it is a translated work and felt that some parts were a little strange. Unfortunately this book just wasn't for me and I found it a little hard to finish.
