The Story of Our Life wasn’t your typical romance. Shauna and Colm fall quickly in love and get married after a short courtship. The story then goes back and forth in time between the present day and throughout their past relationship. I really enjoyed the fact that this wasn’t a fairy tale romance and this couple had real life challenges and struggles. This was also a new to me author and I’ll definitely be reading more of @sharilow reading more of soon!

Loved it!! Couldn't put it down!! To term this a ‘bittersweet love story’ is to undersell this book - it is so much more than that. A whole range of issues and emotions are explored;
relationships with friends and family, the highest and lowest moments in life, and from one tragedy to the next. My heart soared, and broke. I laughed and I cried.

Moving, emotional and a wonderful story. Didn't really feel for characters as much as I thought I would though
