A good murder mystery with good characters who are quite complex, and a very gritty plotline, you manage to enjoy a lot. You definitely like Nikki and Joe and hope they catch their guy. So when you get a chance pick up a copy and enjoy.

The first in a new detective series and one which I really enjoyed. This book had everything a good crime thriller should have. Highly recommend.

3rd book I've read off this author, but 1st in this series.

Was very interesting and was surprised how the DI Nikki Galena uses the underworld to her advantage. What happens when you find 2 women missing and 1 of them is from the underworld family? You ask questions what no one thinks you should.
