I am a little bit undecided in how to rate "Breakfast under a Cornish sun". There were a few things that I liked and a few things that I didn't like.

I enjoyed the relaxed vibe throughout the book and it was very enjoyable. It made me feel all relaxed too. The setting in Cornwall was pretty nice too and the surroundings were described quite nicely.

The story itself remained a little bit shallow and there wasn't that much happening. The love story part lacked for me as well and I couldn't really fell a chemistry between the characters.
The characters themselves were nice but also remained a little bit shallow.

The story was nice to read but unfortunately not much more.

This is another read i read a while ago.. This is a pure poolside read and it sticks out as been a wonderfully light read. We meet Kate & Izzy who have gone away to the coast (well Cornwall) and a chance to wind down and clear their heads. That is apart from the tiny fact that Kate has agreed to go the "Queen Bee" from high schools wedding and she is bringing along her boyfriend, her boyfriend who apparently looks exactly like Poldark...and the boyfriend she doesn't have. At least been on the Cornish coast, she stands a chance of finding one..

This is a laugh out loud lovely read with wonderful characters

Kate works with/for her friend Izzy in a cafe/cocktail bar. Out of the blue she gets a call from an old high school friend and she invites Kate to her wedding. Their conversation unexpectedly comes to a point, where Kate lies about having a boyfriend, who looks like Poldark and of course he’ll be her plus one to the wedding. When Izzy suggests to go on a trip to Cornwall it doesn’t seem to come at a better time-it’s the perfect time time for Kate to find her own Poldark! Their holiday destination is not what they exactly imagined , it’s in the middle of the changes. While there, Kate meets with two charming men- a chef Lucas and a manager Tremaine. Lucas is handsome and knows how to charm a lady whereas Tremine seems to be mister grumpy. Even though Kate is suppose to enjoy her vacation, she is happy to help Tremaine with the changes and make the place better. During her stay in Cornwall, is Kate finding her happiness and a plus one to her friend’s wedding?

It was a terrific feel-good book. I really enjoyed the writing style and all the characters. It’s great summery read to enjoy at any time.
