A lovely read. An enjoyable escape. I liked the characters and the plot was believable. I liked the older heroine. Will read this author again. Recommended.

Family secrets always make for a good read and this is not exception. There's some lovely writing here and it's nice to see mature women figure in a plot without being made the butt of jokes. I put this down once and came back to it later- and I'm glad I did. It's well written "domestic fiction." Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.
