Joy Ellis can never go wrong, this is the fourth Nikki Galena book in the series and I loved it as always!
Nikki and Joseph are as human as ever and their attempts to cope with the challenges of their respective personal circumstances (the death of Nikki's father and the unexpected visit of Joseph's estranged daughter) give us an interest in both characters on a personal level. Then we have the procedural part of the book and this loses no momentum due to the personal lives being involved too. Here the reader is always aware of the lines of enquiry and is allowed to accompany the police as they go about their very credible business. In addition to all this, there is plenty of excitement and danger to get your heart. The Nikki Galena books are going from strength to strength and I love every single one. Thanks to Joy and Netgelley for my copy of the book to write my review.
