Foreword: Literally speaking, the book does not have much merit. Having said that, Nazism, the Holocaust and the Second World War being one of my main fields of interest, I was delighted to read this book, which collects the most important attempts made by the German people to get rid of the man they had, quite improperly, elected to lead them. As in many other texts, it emerges that these attempts came (apart from one case) from within the circle that had access to the dictator. In addition to this, the book contains other interesting information about the society at the time of Hitler's rise to power until his fall.
