Honestly, this was a tough read. It took a long time to get through and I've picked it up and put it down for a long time. It was a historical fiction romance without much to back it up. I didn't click with the characters. It fell a bit flat for me,

I didn't really click with this book, it's written more like a story I would have been expected to be published in the 80's not 2016.
