I’ve just noticed that I hadn’t added my review for the first book in this lovely series about a group of women who work on the shipyards during the war.
It’s a great book full of friendship, the war effort and romance and family relationships.
Rosie, the head welder is given a bunch of new girls to train and we get to know them all.
A lovely writing style that has you quickly engaging with the characters and set during one of my favourite eras for a series.

I read the paperback version of the 'Shipyard Girls'

I really enjoyed reading this saga and still have the paperback copy in my bookcase for reading again one day. Am looking forward to reading more!

Really enjoyed this book. Really engrossing story that I lapped up in no time. I loved the story and felt every emotion on the journey. Will look out for more books of this genre and from this author, thank you

Great new author, Nice to have strong characters that mature along with the story. Good strong wartime story line set far from the east end on London or Yorkshire. Look forward to many more tales from this author.
