I can sort of see the point of this story, but it really didn't hook me. For at least half of it I wasn't sure why I was reading or whether it was going. It's a pretty typical sort-of-dystopian story about a society that lies to you, and as that, it's pretty depressing to read, but I guess I didn't quite expect that ending, which wasn't bad. Still though, reading this book was kind of a chore.
I thank the publisher for giving me a free copy of the ebook through NetGalley in exchange to an honest review. This hasn't affected my opinion.
