Ava and her best friend Debs go on a trip to Paris. Ava, just been cheated on by her boyfriend, is determined to have fun in Paris and to forget about men - until she meets Julien.
I've had One Christmas in Paris on my kindle since November, planning to read it some time in December. When I finally got around to reading it it was already the 26th and Christmas was basically over. Nevertheless I very much enjoyed this book, and it wasn't so much about Christmas after all, despite it being set in snowy Paris in December.
I don't give 5 star ratings away easily these days (it's only my 5th 5 star rating of 49 in 2016!), but this book definitely deserved it, as it was the perfect fin to this year for me.
I really loved the characters - Ava and Julien are a perfect fit - and Debs and Didier were great, too. I loved the plot was aswell, a nice love story, not too much drama, a real comfort read and just perfect for my Christmas holidays.
At this point I'd like to thank NetGalley, Mandy Baggot and Bookouture for this free ebook in exchange for an honest review!
