If you like suspense, this series is a must read! This is the third book in the series and you must read the first two in sequential order. They both end on a cliffhanger and this is the conclusion.

I was so drawn into this series. It was definitely one that kept me guessing on who was good and who wasn't. Who should Ella trust? Could she even trust herself? I was questioning everybody! I mean all that she really knew for sure that she was in love with Kayden but was that going to be enough when the truth comes out? What exactly is the truth? Is it what her memories are showing her or what people are telling her? Will she gain her full memory back before it's too late?

I really like Ella, she's not to be underestimated in any circumstance. When the chips are down will she be able to do what needs to be done before time runs out???

Loved this series!

This is the end of Ella's story. We see how it finishes for her and Kayden. There is romantic suspense, action, and it's a fast paced story. It will have you questioning what you think you know. In the end, all my questions were answered. It's a satisfying conclusion to the end of the Careless Whispers series.

This is the third book in the series, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Same fantastic characters ad amazing story. these book must be read on order and not as a stand alone read. This author has a fab way of bringing you lots of drama, suspense , hot and steamy scenes all rolled into one amazing book. This is definitely a must read series. I cant wait to read from this author in the future.

You need to read the other books in this series before reading this book. Trust me thought the journey through these books is filled with romance,secrets and lots of suspense. Not everything is as it seems and the pieces of this trilogy begin to fall into place fully in this story. Not going to say anymore and ruin it for you but trust me its a very good series of books to read.

And we're back with Ella & Kayden! I didn't do a re-read of book #2 this time! Lisa does a quick summary in the beginning - that was all I needed to remember!
First we're in Paris with Sara and Chris! *SIGH*
Remember? Ella was allowed a short phone call to her old friend at the end of the 2nd book!

And now that Sara knows that Ella's alive, we go back to Rome.
To try keeping everybody safe and to find this god-damn necklace that started all this mess.
The 300-million-dollar-butterfly-necklace!

Kayden kind of has to work together with italian mobster Niccolo to destroy the other mob-brother - who kept Ella as a slave before Kayden found her! And everybody wants the necklace.
And then there's also Ella's fear that she's a CIA agent and that it would somehow come in the way of her releationship with Kayden. But she still only remembers tiny little bits here and there.

So, we're very busy with very suspensy and sexy things until we can finally get our Happily Ever After!!!!

Great final book in this series!
It was a non-stop suspense mystery again!
You can't stop reading because you just HAVE to know what's behind everything. And of course more importantly for us romance fans - will there be a happy end?
Ha, of course there will be a happy end for our darlings. But it takes us a very long time until everything is cleared up and every bad guy is dealt with.
But of course we have a lot of (sexy) fun while we're fighting for our Happily Ever After!

If I had to name some things I didn't like? Not really ... it was just a bit too wordy. I think we could've cut a few sentences on every page. You don't get to take a breath or a second to take a sip of coffee. Every page is sooo full of words. But I still loved the story!

SURRENDER was the perfect ending for Ella & Kayden! Very sexy & mysterious & exciting & adorable! Great series!
Can't wait to see what Lisa will have for us next!

This is the third and final book in the Careless Whispers series and this entire series has been filled with suspense and danger around every corner!

From the moment Ella woke up with amnesia her story has been a non-stop adventure and I've loved every moment of it! Her and Kayden have been through so much together and I love the intense connection they share.

This entire series had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end with the need to know what was going to happen next and I loved this! I highly recommend reading this to anyone and I look forward to much more from this author in the future.

The author has given us a perfect conclusion to Ella and Kayden's story.
You must read the previous books to understand everything that is going on. Ella has always intrigued me there was always do many questions, what happened to her, who is she really, is she a baddy and thankfully all my questions were answered.
I'm not going to tell you the plot that just be mean but like the previous books the story is well written with lots of twists and turns, lots of surprises.
I hope the author gives us more from all the characters I've come to love I really don't want this series to be over.

Loved this series and Surrender is the perfect ending couldn't be any better!

Surrender starts where Demand ended - Blake Walker provides an update to both Ella and Kayden on who she is and why she can fight and shot a gun like a pro. With the new information and reconnecting with Sara Ella's best friend from the Inside Out series Kayden and Ella team up with the other Hunters to take out the enemies and hopefully finally find the elusive butterfly necklace.

Surrender is filled with romance, mystery, and action its fast paced and ties up all the open questions we have had over the course of the 2 previous books. Kayden is still incredibly alpha as The Hawk and Ella is a perfect partner for him as his Lady Hawk. Ms Jones does what she does best with the balance of lots of hot romance and intrigue and action. It was great to see cameos from Blake, Chris and Sara and Ms Jones does a great job interweaving Sara's thoughts within the story a great touch. We get some hints of romance between Adriel and Sasha that I really hope she explores further.

Now that all 3 books are out and if you want to read a great series filled with love and action I highly recommend Careless Whisper series - if you have already read the first 2 books then I promise you will not be disappointed with the conclusion

Surrender is the conclusion of the Careless Whispers series. This series should be read in order.

In Surrender, Ella is finally able to recover her memory. At first, it's as flashbacks but by the end, she knows everything she was missing.

Everyone wants to know where she hid the three billion dollar butterfly necklace. Kayden to return it to the rightful owners while the two mobsters want it to further gain more power. Niccolo is head of the Italian mafia and Neuville from the French mafia.

Ella knows Neuville is the man who had her captured and treated her as a slave. She tries really hard to avoid fearing him. She doesn't want to give him any power over her.

Ella is not sure she's friend or foe to Kayden. She believes herself to be a CIA agent. She doesn't want to jeopardize Kayden's love for her or put anyone in danger.

Kayden is determined to keep her safe at whatever cost necessary. He's willing to kill for her. He won't let Niccolo or Neuville have her.

Surrender had a lot of action and suspense. It also has a couple of Sara and Chris's cameos which made the story even better. Blake Walker also plays a part. I had no problems following the story line and all my questions were answered. I'm sad to see this characters go.

Surrender was a true Lisa Renee Jones style read full of suspense, angst, intrigue, mystery, with a whole lot of super steamy sex with amazing strong characters. No wilting wallflowers here – only strong-willed females who can take care of themselves and the possessive men who love them.

From the very first line of Denial, I was sucked into the mystery of who Ella was and what happened to her. Her blue-eyed rescuer was just as intriguing. Surrender takes the reader through all Ella’s mysteries and questions about her life and her connections to the CIA, several evil and untrusted mob bosses, her mysterious talents that keep surfacing and the elusive butterfly necklace. How do all these pieces fit together and what secrets are hidden in the recesses of Ella’s mind? What is her mind protecting her from?

Kayden and Ella’s love story is so strong, each complements the other and allows them to fully explore and trust in the other. They do not deny the 6th sense and gut feelings that each other feels and they are totally in sync and the perfect couple to head up The Underground as Hawk and his Lady Hawk. Ella earns the respect of the members in her own right, she doesn’t rely on Kayden to force their acceptance and proves her presence does not make him weaker but strengthens them both as a whole. She has been groomed for a partner like Kayden her whole life, and what an exciting life the two of them will forge together.

If you enjoy putting your brain to the test and deciphering the clues that have been cleverly placed throughout the book, you will love the Careless Whispers Series and the dramatic conclusion found in Surrender. This is a trilogy that you cannot truly enjoy without reading each book in the order they were intended. The dramatic and exciting ending will have your heart beating while you are devouring the pages in hopes of a happy ending. Will you find one? You will have to read the story to find out.

Surrender, the conclusion to the Careless Whispers trilogy, is a sexy and thrilling story that left me breathless. Lisa Renee Jones is a master in romantic suspense, and this series is one of my favorites. Surrender had incredible writing, an engaging plot and unforgettable characters that will stay with you long after you've finished reading.

There were so many elements in play leading up to this final book, and I couldn't wait to see how things would turn out. Jones is so good at weaving together a storyline that totally mesmerizes the reader and leaves them hanging on to every word. Picking up from where book 2, Demand, left off, Ella and Kayden are faced with seemingly impossible obstacles as their search for answers reaches a boiling point.

Jones writes her characters so well, and Kayden and Ella were so likable and intriguing in different ways. These were two people whose passion burned so fiercely, and whose connection only grew stronger with time. The circumstances surrounding their relationship were tumultuous, but one thing that remained constant was the incredible bond connection they shared. I loved it when the two of them came together, whether it was in intimacy or a simple conversation. The progression of their relationship from the first book until the conclusion was one of the things I liked the most about the story.

The suspense and action in this book was great, and well-balanced with the romantic elements. Readers will be very satisfied with the story's ending, as we are given the answers we've been awaiting, and Kayden and Ella finally find their happiness.

I have often found that sometimes a long awaited book doesn't meet expectation... SURRENDER is not such a book. The action is just as heart pounding and intense as the first and second books of the Careless Whispers series. In this final book of the series more secrets will be delved into and brought to the light, and some will be very surprising to even those who have read this amazing series.

As with the other two books DENIAL and DEMAND we get a view of the day to day life of Kayden and his underground Hunter organizations and how much Ella is remembering and how strong she has become. There's a cop that you will not be sure where he truly stands, as well as a couple of other characters in Ella's new world but that is to be expected. To top things off two Mafia dons want something from her and one is indeed a part of her nightmares. We get the pleasure of seeing Sara arrive and Ella knows that she must find the strength to finish things. If she doesn't, she could lose the people she loved in the past and love now. A fantastic series that will got on my to read again file.

I don't believe author Lisa Renee Jones could have ended this series any other way. On a personal note I would really love to revisit this world as well as Sara and Chris again sometime in the future. If you are looking for heart pounding action and tension, a hero with secrets, a heroine with her own but with the guts to take her life back then add in a good bit of steamy, sexy romance then you want to get your hands on SURRENDER.

I want to be Ella when I grow up! She is badass!!

As with Demand, you must read the books in order or they won't make sense. Each successive novel is a continuation of the previous one.

Finally Ella is getting more and more of her memory back and is becoming more and more entrenched in The Underground, much to Kayden's chagrin. Ella has become the Lady Hawk and demonstrates time and again how much she deserves that title.

This series was like a long action, suspense movie! It was like watching 4 Die Hards. But oh what a story!!

STOP, if you haven’t read Denial or Demand, don’t even read this review. Surrender is part of the Careless Whisper Trilogy, so yeah, go read those first.

Surrender was my last read for 2016 and finally lots of questions were answered. I was glad that at the beginning of the book, the author gave me a recap of books 1 and 2 and all the players. Between the releases of Denial (late 2015), Demand (May 2016) I forgot a lot of things so it was good to see the brief rundown.

Slowly but surely, Ella starts remembering her past, yet the key element to her memory is that God forsaken necklace that everyone and their mother wants. Well not literally, the stepbrothers, one from the French Mob the other from the Italian Mob. This necklace was stolen from the British government over a decade and somehow ends up with Ella and suddenly disappears. Well this is when her memory needs to come back.

Throughout all this, one thing is certain, Kayden wants Ella protected. Even though he has made her his Lady Hawk, he doesn’t want to lose her like the woman he lost all those years ago. Ah but who do you trust? It was so good to see Sara and Chris make an appearance as well, since it was Sara’s insistence to find her best friend.

Bits and pieces of Ella’s memory was coming back. My issue was when she finally remembers where the necklace was or how she remembers it, felt a bit rushed. I will say this about Ella, she’s a total bad ass. She is no damsel in distress which she proves in this series. Kayden is still how and his respect for Ella makes him even hotter.

I cannot believe this series is also over. This book did have a little more suspense and lots of surprises. If you’re looking for your romantic/suspense read, you should add this series to your TBR.

Perfect ending to the series. We start off with Sara and Chris finding out Ella is still alive. "We are not enemies" Ella is still hiding out from Niccolo but she's determined to not be afraid anymore with Kayden by her side. Where is the necklace that everyone wants? Is Ella getting all her memories back? Will Ella be able to truly trust Kayden that he won't turn on her over the necklace? Will Sara still want to be friends with Ella after all the lies? Wow so much drama in this book but it ends with the perfect closer. I loved this series! Ella even with her memories were gone she was such a strong person. I can't believe this is it. I have enjoyed every single book of this excellent, intense and addictive series.

In Surrender , the clock is ticking for Kayden and Ella who have to solve the puzzle. Kayden is a strong, charismatic, dominant alpha, he is the Hawk of the Underground, the one that you shall fear- his weakness, his Lady Hawk Ella. They are both trying to tame each other and to reach compromises but it is not always easy. The passion and the chemistry between them is off the charts and uncontrollable.


"But he’s going to really hate the moment he finds out that my surrender is my control—not his."

Ella has some unfinished business to deal with, but will Kayden let her put herself in danger at any costs? Will the truth tear them apart?

Explosive ending that had me on edge from start to finish.
I gave 4.5 stars because I would have loved to have an epilogue.
