Enjoyable but frustrating mystery
This book featured a great comic detective--a French chef married to a distant relative of Edward VII, who was as preoccupied with his anxiety over the meals he was cooking as he was solving the crimes. But much of his potential was wasted on a mystery set at Versailles that featured confusing action (a map would have been helpful) and too many underdeveloped characters.
