Having just recently read Stark Warning, I was eager to start this one. I grew to like DCI Sam Quinn in the last book, and was looking forward to reading more about his car-crash lifestyle. This time around DCI Sam Quinn, of the Met’s Celebrity Crime Squad is faced with a new case.
Helen Troy is kidnapped during a night out in London, Rich and famous Helen, a singer is an A list celebrity.
As Sam Quinn begins this investigation, things start to go wrong. The pressure is piled on him, and how he will cope could go anyway.
This is an easy to follow story, an easy read, and will keep your attention though out the book.
I'm looking forward to reading more from this author and hoping to see a bit more of Sam in the future. I'd love to see if he ever sorts his life out.

Thanks to Endeavour Press and Netgalley for an ARC of this book.
