Angela Norris is a former journalist. She grew up in Knott End and Pilling, where her story is set. After writing for newspapers, she worked as a health promotion specialist followed by various roles as a researcher, lecturer, project officer and community engagement officer. Now semi-retired, she has returned to writing.
