Description

There will be blood…

Three years ago Pat O’Hara went to jail for robbing a bank, taking the fall to protect his twin brother Mick and his family.

After saving the life of a guard, Pat finds himself on parole but when he returns home, it’s not to the welcome he expected.

His brother has been murdered, leaving their mother to care for the homestead and Mick’s young son all alone.

The land is also suffering from drought, causing ranchers, such as the Conneleys and Bowens, to take their cattle to graze in piñon country.

Believing one or both of the families to have been involved in his brother’s murder, Pat takes on the job of guide and gun-boss of a sheep-outfit run by Jessica McShane, also bound for that area.

Why was his brother murdered?

Was it the result of a bank job gone wrong?

Or perhaps solving the mystery of his brother’s death, will also solve the problem of the missing cattle?

With bullets flying, will Pat find the answers he’s looking for?

Or will he be just another victim of the Mesa Feud?
