In search of excitement away from home, Rube Fenner foolishly puts himself in a dangerous situation and finds himself on the wrong side of the law.

In an attempt to satisfy his high spirits and thirst for adventure, he becomes caught up in a bank robbery which quickly goes wrong.

As a result, Rube is now a wanted man, on the run and facing five years in gaol. His dramatic getaway plunges him into another deadly situation and he soon finds himself battling for his life.
