A valley in trouble…

After eight months, Walter ‘Limberleg’ Magill has returned to Dry Lake Valley, only to find trouble brewing in his absence.

Magill finds the town of White Water packed with strangers, hoping to claim land under the new property law, and all led by the hot-headed Hugh Crowl.

With nesters staking claims to land on the various ranches, including Magill’s Lazy Y, tensions are rising and it may not be too long before blood is spilt.

When Sheriff Langford refuses to grant Crowl’s demands for protection for his new ranch, Crowl decides to take the law into his own hands.

Things are complicated even further when Magill’s ward, Naida Tevis, falls in love with state recorder John Stonebreaker, who appears to be in Crowl’s pocket.

With the law seemingly on Crowl’s side, and the threat of troops being brought in, Magill finds himself engaged in a turf war which may cost him his life.

Once again, Magill finds himself riding head first into one of the bitterest range feuds the west has ever seen.

The question is, will he come out alive…?
