Description
Inspired by the author’s childhood in Ireland and his life with his loving family, Vincent’s Prayer explores themes of childhood and youth, love and marriage, and illness and sanity. Vincent’s Prayer is a startlingly personal collection of poems that seeks to bring hope and enjoyment to the reader. The poems will resonate with not only poetry lovers but with anyone who wishes to look back on a life well lived and reminisce on their own childhood, youth and health.
A Note From the Publisher
Vincent James Connors is a native of County Waterford, Ireland, but has lived in the UK for more than 50 years. Unfortunately, ill health has forced him to take early retirement from the civil service. Upon retirement he then took up writing as a hobby and has had a number of short stories and poems published. Many of his poetry and stories have been inspired by the events of his childhood. Vincent is married with two daughters and four grandchildren.

Now I have been disappointed in poems of late for one thing or the other so this for me was excellent. Great collection of poems expertly done to perfection. Thank you for allowing me to review this collection as I was struggling finding good poems lately.
