A young woman is facially disfigured in an apparently motiveless attack. As her relationships with those around her change, she is forced to confront her own shortcomings. A Note From the Publisher

Roger Curtis was born in Sussex but spent most of his childhood in west London. After graduation he worked in Africa, in the pharmaceutical industry and, before retirement, in government service. He is married with two adult children and currently lives in Suffolk. He has previously published Murchison’s Fragment and Other Short Plays for Stage and Radio (Matador, 2015) – a collection of nineteen plays varying in length from 15 to 50 minutes, many of which have been performed.
