Now she’s in the sixth form, Emma’s expecting life to be a breeze but when her best friend Steph suddenly has a boyfriend who she’s spending more time with Emma’s not sure what to do with herself.

So Emma’s got a mission in mind: making new friends. Signing up for the school fashion show seems like the perfect opportunity. Although soon, through a series of mishaps that are absolutely not Emma’s fault (well, sort of), her world is teetering on the edge of disaster again.

Editing Emma was one of my favourite 2017 reads. Emma was relatable, honest and that perfect level of weird. The book’s plot was wrapped up so well, I was very happily surprised to see this sequel appear on Netgalley.

Emma is as delightful as ever, her blog still more of a private online diary, which allows her to speak without being edited. She’s sworn off men and making a conscious event to put more effort into her friendships. Conflict occurs when Emma feels her friends are moving on and growing up without her.

The dilemmas Emma faces are even more relateable before. Certainly most people I know have struggled with making new friends.
The book is funny, emotional and educational. From the moment it starts to the last post, you will not want to put it down.
