Description
Where Do the Children
Play?" is a coming-of age story about twin boys who finally get adopted at
the age of five after having lived in foster homes for most of their lives.
While things are not perfect at their new home they are very grateful to have
one. The older (by two minutes) twin Wesley still has a real desire to learn
more about his past, though, while at the same time trying to forget it and
move on, but things keep happening that won't let him. His brother Rory prefers
to stick his head in the sand at all cost. That is until a little boy's
drowning when they were ten changes everything.

The adoptive Mom in this story is a bit abusive to these boys. I did enjoy this book . Thank you Netgally.
Where Do the Children Play by Tom Evans, is a coming of age story set in 1950's America. It's filled with intrigue, wonder, and moments that will make the heart melt, all told through the innocent voice of a child. We thoroughly enjoyed this novel and hope to read more from the author soon. You'll love it too if you enjoy such movies as Stand By Me and Mystic River. This is the story of Rory and Wesley who are twins who have been adopted. . A four-year-old boy is kidnapped and murdered and Wesley is very interested in the suspect, as there seems to be a link between the killer and the twins that he want to figure out.
I liked the book a lot and it’s not my usual cup of tea! Didn’t drag too much and though it was sometimes sad in all it was a highly enjoyable read.
