Description
What’s better than reading and drawing? Doing them together, in the same book! The Watch Me Read and Draw book series is special because it blends two things together that kids love: reading and drawing!
It’s easy and fun to learn to draw, especially when there’s a story to read and lots of stickers. In Watch Me Read and Draw: Dinosaurs, kids will read about Pete the pterodactyl who discovers an egg and sets out to find its parent. Throughout the story, readers will learn to draw 11 prehistoric pals, step by step, including dinosaurs that roamed the land, air, and sea. Included are drawing instructions for a Pterodactyl, Apatosaurus, Compsognathus, Sauroposeidon, Ankylosaurus, Ornithomimus, Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus rex, Diplodocus, Mamenchisaurus, and Triceratops!
Each page features easy-to-follow instructions so young artists can draw all of the dinosaurs from the story, one step at a time. Basic shapes that kids will recognize make it easy to follow along and learn how to draw. The flip-out drawing pad also offers drawing prompts and simple shapes for a jump-start, making it enjoyable and fun to draw favorite dinosaurs. Plus, there’s a whole bunch of colorful stickers inside to reward them as they complete the story along the way, and a prehistoric scene at the end to make their very own! It’s the perfect starter drawing book for kids who love to read and draw.

While this is a little more complex than the Farm version in the same series, little ones will love to draw the dinosaurs that are presented in the book.

Great book to share with children. Plenty scope to have many fun filled days with this one. Full of great ideas

I thought this was a great activity book for young children. It has a cute and simple story with easy to follow instructions for drawing several different dinosaurs. For any young child fascinated with dinosaurs, this could be a fun art book.
Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for the opportunity to review this book, my opinions are my own.

What a fantastic book for a budding 5 year old artist! My son LOVES dinosaurs and loves to draw. This book is absolutely a hit for him. (And I no longer have to muddle through trying to draw one myself!)

This book is a very creative way to get children to interact with what they are reading so that they can become more involved with the story. Each section of the story gives step-by-step instructions on how to draw one thing per page, so that children have to pause and think about what they are drawing and how it relates to what they've just read. Awesome idea!

This is the first book by Samantha Chagollan & Mattia Cerato that we have read. We enjoyed it. My little ones liked the story. They loved the stickers and enjoyed trying to copy the drawings. I will purchase more of her books.
I received an ARC of this book to read through NetGalley in exchange for a fair review.

I got this book to review from NetGalley. This is a nice book. Yet not in the kindle issue. I suggest over five years olds.

Good book. Kids will like learning how to draw dinosaurs with this book. Good direction and illustrations. Kids will enjoy.

I really liked the book, there was plenty to engage children and keep them entertained
The book gives help in drawing dinosaurs and there are also fun pages to get children to join in and make their own scenes and best of all, stickers!
Five stars - plenty to keep little ones busy and perfect for any dinosaur fans out there!
