To Lose a Child

This book is for anyone who may ever have the responsibility of making health care decisions for a loved one. Technology has created a place between life and death that didn’t exist before, causing confusion at a time of crisis, when emotionally we are vulnerable, afraid and weak ourselves. The reader can ponder these issues and find how he or she feels before experiencing the pressures and pain themselves. It allays some of the confusion about euthanasia verses allowing one to die with dignity, not being kept “alive” by machines for an indefinite time. Evelyn Shreve was born in Canada and currently resides in the small town of Comber, Ontario. She worked as a registered nurse while raising her three children. Currently she devotes her time to Christian ministry in Canada and in Belize.
